The work of Rail and Network Plant MPK- Łódź Spółka z o.o. includes:

• laying tram rails by means of various technologies
• laying tram rails by means of various technologies
• renovations and conservation of power networks and high voltage substations
• production of rail and power network elements, and in particular:
  • various types of tram turnovers
  • parts of turnovers:
    • different types of rail switches
    • any shape of switch blades
  • electric rail switch drives
  • rail and power network fixtures.

The Plant used specialised rail works equipment, which ensures quick completion of renovation and conservation works:

• rail rippers
• rail drills, bolting machines, grinders
• breakstone and asphalt arming rollers
• machine for rail tamping and regulation
• fuel- or direct-electric-current-powered welders
• hand-operated rail benders.

The Plant's workshop uses machines which offer wide range of treatment options:

• number operated planer mill
• planing machine for up to 4m planing
• multi-radial drilling machines
• engine lathes, bar folders
• hydraulic benders.
