Steps after getting a fine

You have been penalised with additional payment and...

  1. The imposed additional payment of 200 zł + the fare (of the value of a suitable single ticket) should be made by the passenger within 30 days from the date of issuing the demand for payment.

  2. In the case when the additional payment is made within 7 days from the date of issuing the demand for payment the additional payment is reduced to 70 zł + the fare (of the value of a suitable single ticket)

  3. The additional payment can be made at the premises of MPK - Łódź Sp. z o.o. (addresses below) or by money transfer to the bank account given at the reverse side of the demand for payment (41 1140 1108 0000 2780 0300 1039) stating the number of the demand for payment and its date of issuing.

  4. A passenger has the right to appeal against the additional payment imposed by the ticket controller within 90 days from the date of issuing the demand for payment. Making the appeal does not postpone the date stipulated in item 2.

  5. The appeals against the imposed additional payments and any complaints are accepted at the premises of the company employing the controller. They may be made personally, by post of by e-mail:

  6. In the case of presenting, within 7 days from the date of issuing the demand for additional payment:
    a) a personal season ticket valid at the time of the inspection,
    b) a document confirming the right to a free or reduced fare, valid on the day of the inspection,
    and settling a handling fee of 10 zł, the additional payment is annulled, and the payment made is subject to a full refund.
