Ticket machines in vehicles

Buying public transport tickets is facilitated by the ticket machines installed in all MPK-Łódź vehicles. Since January 2015 in each tram (in the first carriage) and bus you will find one of the machines described below. On the website below you will find information about the ticket machines, their functionality and handling. The vehicles in which the ticket machines have been installed are labelled with special stickers which can be found on the doors opposite which the machine is installed. The stickers vary depending on the type of the ticket machine and the form of payment.

The machines accept payment for tickets by all kinds of bank cards (including proximity cards MasterCard PayPass, Maestro PayPass and Visa PayWave). Easy use of the machines is facilitated by touch screens. They sell all tickets applicable in the municipal area (in Łódź) and the suburban area, as well as extension tickets. In order to buy a season ticket you must have with you your MIGAWKA card, as at the moment of purchase the season ticket is encoded on it. There is also a possibility of encoding a season ticket purchased via online store (although it is not required). At the ticket machines you can also buy tickets from other transport companies – from Pabianice and Zgierz.
